The Honorable R. Bryce Shields has been selected to complete the term left by the unexpected passing of the Honorable Jim C. Shirley as Eleventh Judicial District judge. He was selected by Governor Lombardo to complete Judge Shirley's term and will take his oath of office on January 5, 2026. Judge Shields keeps his chambers at the Pershing County Courthouse in Lovelock.
The Eleventh Judicial District Court is a traveling court with a monthly schedule that brings us to three regional courthouses:
- Pershing County Courthouse in Lovelock
- Lander County Courthouse in Battle Mountain
- Mineral County Courthouse in Hawthorne
