ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
$18.00 - $26.50/DOE
This position is for the Mineral County Office.
Must be self-starter and be able to work independently.
Duties include: acts a receptionist providing information and assistance to the public, processes all juvenile referrals received, prepare, proofread and edit legal documents. Compile, organize, file and distribute legal documents. Schedule and maintain Court Calendars. Maintain confidential juvenile files, tracking and collecting fines and restitution balances, organizing Court ordered community service, updating and maintaining various statistics for County and State agencies, being responsible for and balancing petty cash, office supply ordering, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, submit to a background check and drug test prior to employment, and have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent or any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities. Clerical experience in legal documents, MSWord, Excel, and the ability to learn new programs. Position is 40 hours per week and includes PERS, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits.
Must be 21 years of age or older at time of application.
